trip continued!!!!

Alise and Logan Wrigley brought the kids up saturday morning and we all went to lunch and then headed to Silverwood Theme-park.  We had a lot of fun.  The weather was a little overcast and we were worried it would rain but it never did.  It was a little cool for the water rides but that didn't stop Alise and I from getting socked right before we left.  : )  The kids had a blast and craig fed them way to much candy and Kaydence went home with a belly ache saying her daddy made her eat all that food :) I told them that...Craig is the father and should have known better and then Kaydence said.  But mom I really did say I was hungry.....I was like...Kaydence your killing your case.  It was pretty funny.  She is so smart!!!! oh Alise told us when she was watching them she wanted a bunch of cookies...4 because thats how old she is and Alise didn't want to give her that many.  Kaydence said my mom lets me have that many and told Alise something to the effect of "you can call my mom and find out if you want".  I can't believe the manipulation is already starting.  I don't know what we are going to do when she is a teenager.  I don't know why or how God could intrust this little one with Craig and I because we have absolutely no idea what is in-store for us with her.

After the park we went and saw a community theater play called "Into the Woods" it was way good and so funny.  Its a compilation of Cinderella, Jack and the bean Stalk, The baker and his wife, Little red Ridding hood and Repunzel. Kaydence really enjoyed it and sat and was still the whole 2 hours but soren didn't.  He enjoyed it but wanted to talk and explain everything and was a bit disruptive so craig spent the last half with him out in the hall.

Sunday afternoon, to celebrate mothers day, we spent on a cruise ship sailing all around Lake Coeur D' Alene.  It was way fun and the food was delicious.  They served us Brunch.

Romantic Getaway to Coeur D'Alene...kid free!!!!

This weekend Craig and I first went up to Coeur D'Alene friday and spent the day without the kids to celebrate our 5th Wedding anniversary.  We went shopping at the mall, went to target, a bunch of sporting goods stores and then checked into our hotel and went swimming in the pool and hot tub.  We then went to the movies and went to this really nice restaurant called The Cedars.  Its a floating restaurant, like a big dock.

overall great great night. Many Thanks to Logan and Alise for watching the kids so we could get away!! ALONE!!!!

TRIP TO SPOKANE/COUER D ALENE

Yesterday Alise Wrigley and I took a trip up to Couer D Alene to enjoy a day of fun and relaxation.  We started off bright and early going to the Zi Spa, while enjoying 5 hours of pampered relaxation and beauty.  We first got a Facial that was so nice and relaxing and when we walked back into the zen lounge our faces were bright and fresh as well as our hair up to the ceiling due to the head massage.  Then we enjoyed a wonderful wrap followed by a deep tissue massage that was heaven sent.  Then we enjoyed a wonderful lunch together followed by manicures and pedicures.  The two gals that did our manicures and pedicures were hilarious and we laughed to tears.  I am pretty sure I messed up a tear ducked because it wouldn't stop tearing up all night.

They even had really nice showers with the water falling from the ceiling.  We got all dolled up and headed over to Spokane to the Shogun restaurant.  This place was really amazing.  You walk into the building and immediately step over this bridge with waterfalls and fountains.  The lighting is Dim and its as if you have stepped out of Spokane and into a Japanese village.  They seat us around this grill and the chef cooks the food right in front off doing tricks and putting on a show.  He lit the grill with fire and a flashing light really added the extra bit of flare to make the evening spectacular.  One trick that was really cool was he took an egg and spun in on the grill, picked it up on his spatula, still spinning, and tossed it in the air...still spinning, and then caught it on his spatula, still spinning, then tossed it again in the air exempt this time turning his spatula sideways and cracking the egg allowing the egg to fall and catching the egg shell on the spatula.  It was pretty cool.  Alise and I enjoyed luscious lobster tail and Steak as well as shrimp and fried rice and the most delicious Japanese mushroom soup.  I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

After dinner we then went to the INB Performing Arts Center and watched a broadway musical.  We really wanted to see a musical and the one playing this particular weekend was "high school musical" which wasn't one we really would have picked first but it was actually quite nice.  It was funny and entertaining.   It was my first time seeing a live play like this and I really want to see another, in fact Alise and I talked to our husbands and they are really excited to go see "Fantom of the Opera" this october.  That should be really good.

Overall the day was perfect and Alise and I have decided this retreat will be a yearly thing.

On another note****HAPPY 5th ANNIVERSARY TO CRAIG AND I*******
