Pullman Discovery Center

Well we are back in moscow and still had a few more weeks left on our membership to the discovery center so we decided to go today.  The kids as usually had a blast.

Kaydence was a little hesitant and freaked out about this but Soren wasn't even phased by it and got right up in its dirty little face.

Kaydence just twirled and twirled like a ballerina with these.

I would like to get me some of these when I have a playroom in a house.  The wall is velco and you build different tracks for the balls to roll down hoping to keep the ball in the track.  The kids are pretty smart, figuring out to move the track pieces up or down if the ball doesn't quite make it the first time.

Soren just loved this basketball hoop...he was here shooting half the time we were at the center... even though he never made it once.

kaydence straight hair!!!

I straighten kaydence hair today.  Maybe it will take some of the spring out of her step!  We went to look in the mirror and said she looks so different.  She said yeah like Lindsey. (craig's sister)

Real Mothers

Real Mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it.
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox.
Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids.
Real Mothers know that dried play dough doesn't come out of shag carpets.
Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up.
Real Mothers sometimes ask "Why Me?" and get their answer when a little voice says, "because I love you best."
Real Mothers know that a child's growth is not measured by height or years or grade...It is marked by the progression of Mama to Mom to Mother...

The Images of Mother
4 years of age- My mommy can do anything!
8 years of age- My Mom knows a lot! A whole Lot!
12 years of age- My mother doesn't really know quite everything.
14 years of age- Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.
16 years of age-Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 years of age-  That old woman?  She's way out of date!
25 years of age-  Well, she might know a little bit about it.
35 years of age-  Before we decide, let's get mom's opinion.
45 years of age- Wonder what mom would have thought about it.
65 years of age-  Wish I could talk it over with mom.

I found this on Rachel's myspace bulletin and really really liked it...

WELCOME HOME!!!

Well we finally made it home to moscow after a summer in Emmett Idaho, where craig was working as a prosector.  He really enjoyed himself and learned a lot and was the first intern  they have ever had that was able to do a jury trial all by himself.  He would love to be hired and live in Emmett but we will see who is hiring after craig passes the bar.

We arrived late last night and I have been unpacking and getting things in order all day while craig studied for his classes that start monday.  He is taking a really big load this semester with 20-21 credits so we will see how often we see him.

SUN VALLEY, IDAHO

When Craig was out of his meetings we went for a walk around to look at all the cool expensive nice housing we would never be able to afford and came across this damed lake.  The next day I took the kids back and we rented some paddle boats.  The kids had a blast.

SUN VALLEY, IDAHO

Craig was lucky enough to be the only intern invited to the IPAA convention (Idaho Prosecutors) up in Sun Valley Idaho.  His Boss Richard Linville was nice enough to give up his hotel room so Craig could take his family.  He went camping instead.  The 195$ a night room was really nice with great expensive wallpaper and ceiling moulding to die for.  The beds seemed comfy enough but both craig and I awoke each morning with a kink in our back...I think we aren't use to "NICE" because we have been sleeping on a air mattress all summer.  While craig was in his meetings all day, the kids and I enjoyed the wonderful amendments the hotel had to offer.  I had to post these pictures of kaydence because she makes me laugh.  She is such a model!!!!!  I have more on our other camera that I will post later.  But I have to pack up because we are headed to moscow early tomorrow morning!!!!!!!

Soren around the farm!

I like to call these "the minimalist"  you don't need to have the fancy junglegyms.... to make a kid happy all you need is a brown cardboard box!!!

PhotoShoot around the Farm

I was taking some pictures of my niece Julia around the farm and the little munchkins wouldn't leave us alone so we let them come and Im glad they did because we got some really great photos of them.  Kaydence is quite the poser...she did this all by herself.  She makes me laugh!!!

A farm tends to accumulate a lot of "JUNK" but to a photographer this is a DREAM!!!!!
