Rainbow playground

We found a really great deal on this rainbow playground set on Craig's List and couldn't pass it up.  The kids are just going to have so much fun with it for years.  Craig and his dad set it up today...we have to get some more swings for it..(place for 3 but only has 1) and then we need to re-stain it and fix some loose bolts but all in all it's in really great shape.  Has a little picnic table underneath as well as a spot for a sandbox. 

Atkinson Family Reunion

This weekend was the Atkinson Family Reunion Camp Out and it was a lot of fun.    We had this great campsite reserved that was like this perfect little peninsula on the lake.  The weather was pefect, about 80-85 with a great breeze the whole time and plenty of shaded trees.  The water was still a little too cold but wasn't too bad if you braved to get in.  The kids had a blast, and it was nice to catch up with everyone.  The camp site was only 15 minutes from where we live so it was nice not to have to travel to far.  I don't think anyone really had to travel to far except an aunt from utah came up.  It's so nice to live so close to family.  Farmers tend to stay close by to one another and I have loved the lifestyle.  It's really nice since my family is all in California and I don't get to see them very often.  The Atkinson's have taken me in as one of their own and I love them all.  

Kaydence Recital, Cherry Festival and Craig's Birthday: BUSY THURSDAY

um guess who forgot her camera yet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! uggg for the LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!  At least I was able to get this one of her before the recital.  Talk about "flower girl"!!!

We went to the cherry festival this afternoon and I brought my camera and took pictures of the kids on their rides...I was going to just leave it in the car so I wouldn't forget it, but I didn't want it to get too hot so I brought it in...good thing because I needed it to take pictures of Craig blowing out his candles for his birthday...but then I left it on the kitchen counter as we rushed out the door in order to get kaydence back to the festival for her recital.....ugg!  She was once again very cute...you will just have to believe me :)

  

Craig's sister came down from Nampa with her husband Derek and little girl Rylie and watched... and then we rode some rides and played some carnival games afterwards...then came back home and played rock band **(apparently it's World Tour from Guitar hero)....Craig's Birthday Present.

Kaydence and Soren had a blast, and could have gone all day on these rides. (just as long as its not the roller coaster again )

house news

So remember that pretty "doll house" house I introduced you too a few weeks ago.  Well it wasn't looking good for a while but just recently we heard back from the listing agent and he said the bank has just passed it through the second negotiator!!!! I guess a short sale has 3 steps or departments that have to approve it for it to go through.  It has now passed the first two and just has to get OK'ed by the investor?? which our realtor said happens in 90% of all cases so it's looking good that in a week or so we will be under contract for a beautiful home in Meridian Idaho.  I for one have gotten very nervous since this news came out, but after seeing the house again tonight I fell in love all over again.  We noticed a bird has somehow entered the house since last time we were there and has left lovely gifts for us all over the place and the grass is not being watered and so we hope it isn't dead by the time we get it...but I am very excited to move in and become house poor which is actually a step up from just being all around poor 6 months ago due to being in school and no job :) 

prima ballerina

Kaydence had her first dance recital  last night and did really well.  She has been in a baby ballerina class for the last few months and has really enjoyed it.  After her practice earlier in the morning she was worried about stage fright.  No stage fright at all!!!!  She gleamed up there.  It was so cute.  Parents aren't allowed in to watch the girls practice (it distracts them) so I have been looking forward to watching her.  

She has another performance at the county cherry festival in a few weeks which should be a lot of fun as well.

New moon is one of my favorites of the 4 books...most think it's their least favorite but I really love it because it's all about  TEAM JACOB!!!!  And I resinated with the story line...you know if you can read between the vampire and werewolf stuff...although craig was a husky in high school. :) anyway
