Craig and I took the kids to the boise zoo on Saturday and we had a lot of fun. We met up with Craig's Sister lindsey and her husband Derek and their little girl Rylie. It was a really hot day but overall we all had a great time. We all went last year together and I am amazed at how much the kids have grown since then and also really amazed that kaydence remembered that we ate raisins by the lions last year.

Had to throw in a picture of Soren becuase I thought it was really cute of him and he has a great smile...not one of those fake smiles for the camera. The sun was going down so I didn't get any of him with the kitten...I will post one of him with the other kitten tomorrow.

Little Tumblers Camp
When we came down to Emmett for the summer I had a big long list of things that I wanted the kids to do. Kaydence was now 4 and able to do a lot of the summer activities such as soccer. little did I know the schedules for moscow and emmett overlapped but were opposites. Moscow soccer for kaydence was during the summer for for Emmett area it was already over when we got here...so that was a bummer. Then we got the summer schedule and all the activities like T-Ball, where for at least 5-6 year old kids....so again another bummer. There was however one little 3-day camp for 4-6 year olds and so we signed her up. Tumbling/gymnastics class. Soren was able to be included with his sister even thought he wasn't old enough...they just let him play along.
The kids had a blast. here are some pictures of day one.
Some other things we wanted to do this summer were teaching kaydence to ride a 2 wheeler, teaching Soren to ride a bike with training wheels....when we left moscow he didn't get the whole steering thing down on a bike but now has since learned out and is really good and loves to ride bikes all day long. We are currently potty training Soren has he has successful gone a few times. :) Also we wanted to get kaydence into some swimming lessons but I found some really good tutorials online and will see if we can just teach her ourselves. Lets see if anymore of these things are crossed off by the end of the summer.

Givins Hot Springs
We went and camped out on Memorial Weekend at Givins Hot springs down just south of Boise/Nampa area. We went with Craig's parents Connie and Larry as well as Craig's Sister Lindsey and her family Derek and Little Rylie. While we were there, we took the kids to the little play area in the middle of the camp ground. It was a pretty nice little park they had for us. There was lots of sand and swing sets and this rock area with trees to climb. It was quite lovely if I do say so myself.
Kaydence eating smores. yum!!!

Summer Fun
Kaydence is finally able to use her barbie car she got for christmas. She just loves it and is quite the poser.
Summer is finally here, the weather has been so nice this past week. We have been living outside and the kids are much happier, as well as eat and sleep better. Soren has learned to steer his bike now and can ride it without me constantly behind him pushing him....you have no idea how much that thrills me. We are trying to potty train him and have had no luck. He is just a very modest boy and wont go unless he is wearing something. Which doesn't surprise me because his whole life has been that way. He has never once gone when I was changing his diaper or in the bath tub. I have always been waiting for him to just spray everywhere when I take his diaper off but nope...NEVER. We have a few more months of summer...hopefully we can get him on the right track by the fall.
We watched the movie "Iron Man" last night and it was really good. I have to say this summer I have seen 3 movies in the theater already ...I think thats what I have seen in the last 3 years. It's nice to live so close to family.

Summer begins....and yet its been hiding under some rain
I guess I've been waiting for something really exciting to post about. We are currently down in Emmett Idaho which is just north of Boise. Craig is working for his home town's Prosecuter's office. He compares it to the Gossip columns since he has to read all day everyday case after case about the lives of people he knows. He has a trial this tuesday thats all him. His first case as a lawyer...big moment...good luck craig!!!!!
We have been here for a few weeks and haven't really done much. Gone shopping a few times, we went camping one weekend over at Gavin Hot springs. We went up to a Ghost town that apparently is so Ghostly anymore. Everyone started buying up the houses and fixing them up and now its a pretty flourishing town. They said people come there thinking its still a touristy town were you can just walk into the houses and look around but instead find someone in their boxers shaving. not the case for us thank goodness.
I got some pretty cool pictures but I forgot or have misplaced my cord to put my pictures on the computer so I don't know exactly how this is going to work this summer. I might just have to take my card in someplace and have them all put on a CD. I AM LAME!!!!! I guess if you find pictures on here...you will know that I figured something out. :)
So I went and watched the new "sex and the City" movie the other day. Had to take myself, the first time I have ever gone to the movie theater by myself. Not to bad...didn't feel weird. I had to go by myself because being mormon, don't know any other "closeted" sex and the city watchers. HAHA (you know who you are)
By the way it was an awesome movie...I cried....I laughed....all around great movie. It was just perfect.
Also craig and I watched the new indiana jones movie which was also awesome. I'm thinking this summer is going to be pretty good on the movie front with also that new batman movie coming out soon too.
Well I hope everyone else's summer is going good.
