Craig found a JOB

Today is the last day of Craig's first week of work!!!!! About 2 weeks ago a friend from our ward was talking with some colleagues/friends who had mentioned they were swamped at their Law firm.  She mentioned Craig to them and got her business card and gave it to us.  We didn't really know any details but Craig emailed her and then went and had lunch with her and discussed some options.  Next thing we knew Craig had a job!!!!  We never really considered for a second that Craig would be working for a firm.  We were planning on him getting a job at a public defenders office or prosecuting office.  His only interest in law so far has been criminal and everything up until this point has been to gain experience and the necessary qualifications for that job.  But...with the economy and job market the way it is people are losing their jobs in big firms and the interest for public jobs for their benefits and security have increased dramatically, leaving us lowly newbies competing with experienced lawyers.
This job seems to be perfect for Craig.  He gets to work in Criminal law and see cases from beginning to end and gain experience in a low key small firm environment.  He seems to really like the two partners he is working with and can tell they are good, honest working, smart guys.  The one partner whom Craig will mostly be working with, is a senator here in idaho and has been really stressed doing both jobs..which is the reason they hired Craig...to take over all of his criminal law clients so he can focus more of his time with legislation and other areas of the practice.
We don't hear back if Craig passed the Bar till April 9th and don't get sworn in to be an official licensed lawyer till the following month so he will be working with a limited license till then which gives him a few months to gain some experience under a mentor.  We are pretty excited about the aspects of what the future can bring for Craig here.  A lot better than if he were to work for the state for 10 years.
Hopefully Craig passes the bar this first time around and all of this doesn't seem to just vanish in a puff of smoke.
