Guess who's a red head???

my sister Shannon  dyed my hair Red over the weekend and after waiting a few days for the purple in it to fade and also dyeing it again a strawberry blond in hopes it would also help lighten the purple... I have braved enough to take photos.  What do you think???...I think unless it fades to a nasty crazy pink color it will stay like this till my brown hair grows completely out because over the last 2 months I think I've died and bleached it like 5 times, and if I try it again it might start falling out.  And thats defiantly not the look I am going for.  

My kids were playing outside the Sacramento Temple Grounds.  Twirling around, and smelling the flowers and playing in trees.  They had so much fun and were so cute doing it.

Guitar Hero

My Parents got their theatre room nearly finished for our arrival.  Ceiling is done, drywall is up and painted, Tile floor and carpet is done.  all that needs to be done is the wall to wall cupboard doors to be sanded, stained and attached.  It looks so awesome.  The projector is up and the guys played all weekend on the play-station 3.  Craigs first attempt at guitar hero...as you can tell I couldn't get an emotion out of him but he really did have fun!!! 

CALIFORNIA TRIP

We just got back from Northern California.  We flew down on friday night after craig got out of class and spend the quick weekend with my family.  My sister Holly and her Husband Chris went threw the temple and got their Endowments taken out and were also sealed.  It was a very nice tearful sealing.  I hadn't met their daughter Madalyn Diane Aylstock yet and she was  already almost 5 months.

SHOOTING !!!!

Today we got a babysitter while the kids were napping and went shooting.  I have now been a total of 3 times and still haven't hit anything moving...but its a long time before I think I am ready for that.  I am pretty good at hitting the bulzeye but I think hitting something moving is not going to be so easy.  It so much fun and I really enjoy this new hobby.  Here we are pictured with our AR-15 but we shot our .22 and sig 229 pistol.  I am still trying to get the hang of what all those numbers mean but I am getting the hang of it...well at least the ones we and our friends have . :)

GREAT DAY FOR A WALK TO THE PARK

We took a walk to the park because it was such a nice warm day out.  I couldn't believe it.  It was snowing yesterday you would have never known it by the day we had.

 

Here is a picture of Craigers.  At the park there was this tree that was slanted...I was like hey craig lean on that tree and I will take a picture.  It leans just perfect for pictures...it is now refered to as "the leaning tree"

EXCUSE ME!!!

Ok so I made this little book for kaydence to draw in and she came to me and said..look I drew a princess.  I was like "very beautiful kaydence"  She said its me and I got a hair cut.  She went back to drawing....then came back to me and showed me what she had done.....she had written POP and explained to me that P_O_P spelled POP! and the balloons had popped.  I was like......EXCUSE ME!!!!! since when did you know how to spell anything...OH MY GOSH!!!! you have no idea how excited I got.  I didn't know my little girl could spell anything.  She only knows the first three letters in her name, before she needs help remembering the others.  This might not be so exciting for you but I was really impressed.

Our Latests art projects

Kaydence saw on a carton them making paper flowers and have been begging me to make some so this is what we came up with.  We didn't start off making this whole thing just some little flowers.  I drew them out and kaydence and Soren cut them out.  Pretty good.  Soren helped with the tap and cutting as well.  I think its so cute I want to frame it and hang it up in kaydence room.

 

 

This is another project we did together.  They tuned out kind of cute.  The kids love doing art projects...even Kaydence's teacher says she stays over in the art center all day.

FUN TO COME!!!!

I am so excited I've got to announce even before it happens.  I can't stop thinking about this upcoming trip we are having to celebrate my 25th birthday (*shout out) , our 5th year wedding anniversary (*shout out) and another year done with law school and the beginning of SUMMER VAYKAY!!!!  We are getting our government stimulation package money and are doing our part to stimulate the economy.  (SHOUT OUT)  

First my friend Alise Wrigley and I are going to go up to Spokane and have some girly fun.  We are going to go white water rafting, go to the RiverFront Park, Spend a whole afternoon getting pampered at a very nice day spa as well as going to a broadway musical.  Our husbands and kids are then coming up to go to Silver Wood Theme Park up just above Coeur d' Alene Idaho.  Then we are going to take a nice mother's day brunch on the coeur d' alene resorts boat cruise.  It's going to be so awesome and fantastic...did I mention I am so excited.
